Greetings Lions of Montana:
International First Vice President Dr. Jung-Yul Choi and his wife Lion Seong-Bok Yang will visit Montana District 37 May 14-16. They wish to visit with as many Lions as possible during their stay. Our guests will arrive at the Bozeman Yellowstone International airport on May 14 at 4:50pm. A welcoming party will meet them at the airport.
Headquarters for the event will be the Element Hotel, 25 East Mendenhall, in downtown Bozeman. A meet and greet reception with hors d’oeuvres sponsored by the Montana Lions District 37 Friendship Committee will be held from 6:30pm to 8:00pm for the four Bozeman area Lions Clubs and all out of town Lions. A cash beer and wine bar will be available. There will be a demonstration by the Montana School for the Deaf and Blind by a local recipient of a reader machine made available with matching funds from the Lions Clubs International Foundation. Dinner on your own will follow

Wednesday morning Dr Choi and Lion Yang will visit the regular meeting of the Gallatin Empire Lions Club at 6:30am at the American Legion, 225 East Main, followed by no host breakfast at the Gran Tree, 1325 North 7th. At 9:00am achartered bus with a capacity of 40 and Dr. and Mrs. Choi will depart the Gran Tree parking lot to visit the PID Gary Tschache statue on Kagy Blvd, Christie Fields on Black Avenue and Lions Park on West Main. Following the Bozeman stops we will be on to Townsend to visit and haveno host lunch with the Broadwater-Townsend and Helena area Lions. We will then move on to Virginia City and possibly Nevada City for a tour of the area and back to Ennis to visit the Lions Park, the Ennis Lions Club auction project at the Rodeo Grounds followed by a tour of the Senior Center that was recently remodeled with the help of a Lions Clubs International Foundation grant. A pot luck dinner will be provided at the Senior Center. After dinner the bus will return to the Gran Tree and your vehicle at about 8:00pm.
Dr. Choi and Lion Yang are scheduled to depart on their flight to Chicago and on to Columbus, Ohio at 6:30am Thursday.
Lions are requested and encouraged to participate in as many of the scheduled activities as possible. Preferred attire for Lions will be Club vests and/or shirts with Club name badges while current and past officers business/casual with International name badges. Please respond your intentions as soon as possible which events you might attend to firstname.lastname@example.org or 406-595-0102 so we can provide numbers to the Element for the meet and greet, the Open Range, Gallatin Empire, Gran Tree, Broadwater-Townsend and Ennis Senior Center. Space is limited to first come first served at a number of the events so your earliest RSVP is urged.
